I saw a couple of interviews during the Tuesday practice round. The players were saying that the temperature and accompanying wind would play a huge role, and that -11 would probably win.

Saw a post round interview with Tiger and it made me laugh that he was wearing a big yellow lanyard that said "CONTESTANT" and "Inside the ropes - all access". I mean I understand Bud Cauley wearing one.

I've had one for quite a few years. The jokes have finally stopped.

I went Driver/7w when I went from persimmon to metal back in the late 90s. The 7w was a trusty club for a long time until something in my swing caused it to be useless. When I restarted this year, I spent $55 to get a 19 degree 3H to replace it for now.

Eventually I will put it back in my bag for use out of the rough, but probably not until next spring.
