No it isn't. Settlements happen for many different reasons. Just ask Trump. A settlement that doesn't involve any admittance of fault is a win only for the persons bank account.

Yes, Rodgers wasn't accusing Kimmel of anything. So what was the point of randomly mentioning his name with the Epstein list?

To piss Kimmel off for going after him previously.

And it worked to perfection.

Are you suggesting that being linked to Jeffrey Epstein isn't a big deal?

Personally, I believe I would not be happy being linked to Jeffrey Epstein.

He linked himself by becoming partners with the guy who provided meals to Epstein and the girls he abused.

Everyone powerful and famous is separated from Epstein by no more than two degrees. Not everyone is as edgy about that fact as Kimmel is.

It wasn't random. As Antioch mentioned, Kimmel mocked Rodgers for linking the UFO story and the expected release of the Epstein list. Rodgers may have taken this mockery as an attempt by Kimmel to provide cover for those named in the Epstein Conspiracy.
I don't think that is a win for Rodgers though if that is the explanation.

Tall Midget wrote:
Another possibility is that Rodgers is aware that Kimmel is good friends and business partners with Epstein's former personal chef, who may have witnessed and/or facilitated Epstein's sex trafficking operation. Kimmel therefore may have a personal and financial interest in squelching discussion of the Epstein Conspiracy.
Rodgers had a chance to make an argument like that though and chose not to.

He didn't make any argument, nor did he accuse Kimmel of anything. He took a deliberately vague swipe at Kimmel in a somewhat humorous context. You seem perturbed that he didn't make a specific allegation.

Kimmel definitely had a guilty conscience type feel to his response.

Right, Kimmel has cultivated a relationship with someone who may have facilitated Epstein's criminal enterprise.

Your argument seems to be that he didn't backtrack because he didn't even say anything to backtrack from. That's fair.

Is the Pat McAfee show renowned as a forum for logical discourse and rigorous argument?

Rodgers trolled Kimmel for entertainment purposes.

He's not submitting a research article to a peer-reviewed journal.

You do know that Kimmel cavorts with Epstein's personal chef, right?

In business with. The guy who snuck food and commiserated with the underage sex slaves. Yes, Kimmel probably "didn't want the list coming out".

I fully accept the idea that Rodgers trolled Kimmel for entertainment purposes. I just think it's a win for Kimmel that Rodgers had to admit as such.

It's not done. At some point Kimmel will divest his business partnership. The list isn't even out yet so we're not even close to who gets the last laugh.

Kimmel's over the top response to a throw-away line from a low-rated sports talk podcast managed to convince way more people that Kimmel's definitely hiding something than the original comment ever could have.

Long been rumored that Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks love minors.

Rodgers isn't nuts on this. Look, there has to be a cover up by the government. There is no way that it was only Epstein banging kids on that fucking island. He needed other wealthy celebrities to help finance his operation and share in it. It's known by the government and key government officials are being paid off not to reveal the really high profile names.

That was a telling moment at the Golden Globes when Ricky Gervais brought up Epstein and ripped the shit out of all of those celebrities.

By the way, after the Epstein arrest, Tom Hanks quickly became a citizen of Greece in case he had to make a run for it.

The Establishment wants so desperately to write Epstein off as a "Right Wing Conspiracy" as they are doing with Ray Epps.

Well Rodgers said that Kimmel wasn't on the list and then the next day still lost his cushy high paying 20 minutes of work a week.

That was the deal new ESPN Indy boss PM worked out with ESPN Bristol boss BM: McAfee wacked Rodgers and now in return Magnus has to take out Norboy, like when Tony shotgunned Steve Buscemi.

The 6,000 year cabal thing is a conspiracy theory. But Epstein’s list isn’t. There’s video footage that explicitly surveils the people involved and there are documents from his previous court appearances that prove he had a group of powerful people involved. Child sex rings aren’t a conspiracy theory. In the 70s there was the Oakland Ring in Michigan, which also had a fake suicide (the son of a prominent politician). There were FBI busts of child porn throughout the 80s and 90s. And Jared Fogle didn’t round up those teens by himself.

Just like with the way the mainstream media wanted to deflect any decent motive from “The Sound of Freedom”, calling it a QAnon wet dream or whatever, it’s really telling how the Epstein thing is also seemingly being thrown under a rug. Sure they call *him* a pervert and his crimes “heinous”; but any mention of anything regarding a powerful group (unless it includes Trump), they’re way too quick to dismiss.

And you know, some conspiracies are correct. Tuskegee, MK Ultra, Project Blue Book, and Kennedy. All were “crackpot” theories initially.

That's funny because he never said Kimmel was on the list. I guess he had to clarify it for stupid people when it became known about his business partner.

A guy that is a big WWE dude might know a little about promotion too, can you imagine the intro for the first show next year.
