Don't let me down. I drafted you in my DraftKings league.

Only two open frames, both were ten pins in the last game.

220.53 average after 15 games.

Had a fun 200. First five, 2 pocket 8-10s, pocket 5-10, strike, and 2 ten pins in the tenth. Everything really solid. Wtf.

How do you get a strike, and leave two ten pins in the tenth frame?

Shot 671 last night. 258-195-218

Pocket 7-10 the 10th frame of the 2nd game...only other open was a 4-7-10 in the 3rd game

Felt good for the first time in a long time out there.

214-183-201--598. Derp. Covered six of six 10-pins. Left a pocket 7-10 split. Only missed the pocket three or four times, but couldn't break 600. That kind of night.

Getting back into bowling after a 7 year break. Used to be a 190's bowler and slowly getting back into form. Currently averaging about 175. Not really getting strikes, but only have an open or 2 a game. Bought a Backyard Bully probably 8 years ago but the pro-shop butchered the grip and I have always hated it.

Am i better off just getting a new ball or having them re-drill it. Only only went through 1 season on the ball. I'll hang up and listen for my answer.

Buy a new ball...find a good pro shop.

Depending on your area, I have a couple of pro shop guys in the North and NW burbs that I could refer you to.

199-203-205 - 3 opens all night.

Couldn't carry. I too was 6 for 6 on 10 pins.

Just a weird night all around.

In that case...research it out...try and find a pro shop with diversity in their selection (avoid the Brunswick type places that only stock Brunswick equipment.

Use Bowlingball.com as a research spot too...

Bowled a "Beat the Alumni" event over the weekend for my old junior travel league...taught the smart-ass high school kids a thing or 2 about spare shooting...

Forgot what it was like to bowl sober, though...

i haven't bowled in about a month. i started getting elbow soreness the first or second week of the season and had been bowling through it, but the pain was escalating to the point where i was unable to deliver the ball properly and my game was going to shit. i told my team i needed to take the couple weeks leading up to thanksgiving off and try to come back this week. it was still hurting pretty bad for several days after my last league night, but it went away and now my arm feels good. i am hoping the rest is all it needed. if the discomfort comes back this week I'm pulling the plug on things until after the holidays and going to the doctor to see what is going on. this season is shaping up to be a total disaster.

213 - 193 - 244 - 650

Weird night all around. 4 opens, all splits...pair of pocket 7-10's...missed cashing on the survivor pot because I missed the 2nd game cut by 3 pins.

I'm the fifth man on a four man team, so I don't bowl every week. Before tonight, the last time I picked up a ball was 11/10. We start practice at 6:15, and league bowling at 6:30. I got a text at 5:53 from one of the guys, who couldn't make it. My wife was working late, so there was no way that I could make the first game, but I knew I could get there for game two, and they would have to take my blind score for game one (my average minus ten pins).

With no practice, I shot 238-235, including a pocket 7-10 in the second frame of game three. My average is up to 219.29 8)

235-180-279-694

2 splits the 2nd game...just not a lot of carry.

Late ball change in the 2nd and I started the 3rd with the front 9, then a 9 pin on a solid pocket shot (found out the pin was off spot and I didn't notice it).

Had not bowled in at least a month, and shot 207-212-247-666

Two open frames, both splits. 1 for 1 on the ten pin.

My average is up to 219.34, which is the highest it has ever been after 21 games.

Dusted off the bowling bag this weekend and headed to the lanes for the first time in at least 3 years and possibly as long as four if I remember
correctly. Bowled two games and rolled a 179-177. I was aiming low and figured if I could bust 300 for two games that wouldn't be too embarrassing.
I throw a straight ball so my results can be very inconsistent. I believe I only left one open in each of the first 9 frames both games but I blew any
chances of making hay in the 10th on each resulting in a bit lower score. Not enough strikes but happy with picking up the number of spares I did
after a long layoff. Made me interested to go back again sometime soon.

I am sure this is nothing new but the best part of going bowling was the convenience my local lane has incorporated. I looked at the hours of operation
Saturday night and it revealed I could make a lane reservation online. Awesome! I always remember going in with fingers crossed that there would be
open bowl and you could grab a lane. I was able to reserve a lane for a particular time frame and we were in and out of there in an hour with shoe
rental and everything. Just made it a very enjoyable experience in my opinion.
