Just did 1,800 yards freestyle this morning, around 38 or 39 minutes, which isn't great, but at least I got up and did it. I'm working on butterfly, but it's one of those strokes where if you don't do it right, you look like a schmuck. (Compare with a backstroke, where if you don't do it right, you sink.) It's a great workout, though, vastly preferable to being around a bunch of grunting in a gym. The monotony of running and swimming kinda gets to me at times, though. And it's not even like I'm in perfect shape from all this. Hell, I'm eating two donuts for breakfast now! One stroke forward, two donuts back.
