Always a top notch tournament on a very difficult golf course. Essentially considered a major without being a major.
One of the best fields in golf every year and a very fun tournament to watch. Post your thoughts and observations
here.

Agreed, the closing holes are the best.

It is usually the best field all year (in my opinion), and that includes the majors.

The Players Championship and the WGC events have the best fields.

I am an evil bastard I know, but I always hope on Sunday it is windy as hell as the leaders have to hit their tee shots on 17.

I get why they moved it to May but I much preferred it in March. It was like an opening rite of Spring.

Even in May, to me this tournament is more major-ey than the PGA Championship.

This isn't a great track for him. Driving accuracy is very important, and his driver is the weakest part of his game.

Wow. What a finish. This game is just fine without Eldrick.

Way too many assholes in the gallery yelling like idiots after Golf shots. It's out of hand.

Most people think Rickie is a wild child party animal, but in fact the opposite is the case. His faith and family are both very important to him. He doesnt drink alcohol, attends the PGA tour weekly Bible studies, and sometimes writes Bible versus on his Golf balls.

There was somebody here who used to hate Fowler for no reason. I can't remember who it was.

I think it is great that there are a handful of new really good players. No matter how hard the ESPN types long for Tiger.

Yes that is pretty annoying but you have people out there drinking most of the day so by 5-6pm they are well lubricated.
I watched most of the final round and overall this was one of the most exciting tournaments I have ever watched. Some
great shot making, especially on #16 and #17. If Haas could have putted better he could have walked away with it.
Same with Sergio to some extent. Fowler had an incredible finish to the final round and I liked the 3 hole playoff format.
Was a perfect way for Fowler to shut up all his critics.

I watched about all of it too, it was awesome to watch. Wish all Sunday's could be like that. Rickie from the 13th in regulation thru the playoff was insane, not so overrated maybe.

Sergio showed what he was made of on the last playoff hole. He was down one stroke, and he puled out his 3 wood.
