I am looking for a "due date" of May 31st for goal and September 30th for stretch goal.

Still hovering around 215. Begun to get in a good exercise groove and pickier in my eating. February will be make/break month. If I can melt 5 in the worst month of the year then another 15-20 will be peanuts once spring starts.

Are you taller than me?

6'1.

I didn't think you had 2 inches on me. I was probably drunk though.

I am in the gym three times a week for weight training and cardio. Getting old is a bitch and I am suffering from old sports it seems. Shoulder tendinitis is really being a pain. Anyone else experience this and have home remedy, stretches and the like? I do not want to consider the knife or drugs at this time.

I dipped below 250 briefly last Friday and then went up a few this weekend. I didn't eat the best and it showed on the scale. I am not sure what I have
but I think it is a rotator cuff which usually flares up after playing golf. It has felt good this off season and I am trying to do exercises to the shoulders
and arms that may strengthen it and no problems as of yet. I sympathize with you because it is painful. Fortunately mine usually subsides after a good
nights sleep and some Icy Hot.

Scale said 250 on the nose this morning which is the best in a long time after a weekend. Hit the gym 3 times and ate much better. I am
hoping my body is starting to adjust to all the weight lifting I have been doing and will start shedding some weight. Cardio still lacking a
little bit but I can turn that up a notch this week.

I lost 10 lbs in two weeks and am extremely nervous about how my dieting and exercise proved so effective. Keep an eye on it, trying to lose about 1 lb a week while gaining muscle so 10 is a bit of a shock.

January to early March is survive and stay steady. The dark, cold and crummy weather drives you to drink and eat comfort food.

Once Q1 is done it becomes easier.

Well I slashed my calories in half then added exercise. I wasn't fat yet, but I was getting there.

The "secret" is keep your calories between 1600 and 2000 and run/lift until your muscles literally fail every day. I've also quit smoking which should result in added weight, not lost weight.

a lot of squatting on sunday with back squats and wall balls throws. woke up yesterday with sore glutes and hammys. all day i was walking stilted and choppy. i think some of my co-workers had some assumptions on my weekend life choices.

still ran 5 miles on monday but boy was it a struggle. 43 minutes which is ok. need to dip under 40.

I did intervals I made up myself yesterday. Would run 2 blocks really fast then slow way down for a block and so on. Did that for 3.15 miles. fuck I was exhausted afterward.

guessing a 8:15 mile pace but not sure. don't have a stop watch.

weight 167.5, down 4.5 I think.

Lenten fast has begun. I have an expectation of about -10 over these six weeks. On the good side, I am starting out lower than I have in the past so knocking off 10 would get me close to a nice weight (for me)

stuck at -4.5

cut out booze for about a week but that was always a hopeless enterprise.

I've been stuck at 210 for almost 3 weeks now. Lines up exactly with when I quit smoking cold turkey. My metabolism is basically the center of the earth in The Core and unless a young Aaron Eckhart comes in with a big pile of nicotine it's going to stay dormant for a while longer. It sucks.

I'm thinking about upping my caloric deficit to 750-1000, basically means cutting out a meal and my post-weightlifting protein shake (something I very much enjoy). I just don't know if I can get 200+g of protein on a ~1000 kcal diet and not be entirely miserable.

-6.8 approximately at the midpoint of Lent

my wife made an unsolicited comment about the loss but she was a couple of glasses of wine into the evening

-10.3 over the six weeks of lent. I'll probably drop a little more with heightened fasting during Holy Week. I'd really like to keep it going as I am not far off an acceptable weight for me
