Okay so my husband has replaced the battery in the smoke detector twice, and finally remove the entire thing from the ceiling. Now the hole in the ceiling is chirping. Any advice you can give is appreciated, as he is slowly losing his mind.

Turns out it was the battery in the carbon monoxide detector two feet away. He dismantled the entire smoke detector and tossed it onto the front steps in a rage. A true Modern Family moment.

1. No, you’ve made it clear you want to be paid for your writing (and editing), which has been proven to be virtually worthless.
2. Your woe-is-me complaint makes it sound like you are writing about neutral topics. The things “that matter to you” are extremely divisive and offensive to a large percentage of the population. I’m sure similar writers of various demographics are getting similar blowback.
