I've listened to a few of their shows, but wouldn't call myself a regular listener. They're pretty good, I like the commitment to bits and the deadpan riffing is timed nicely, if not executed with the wit of a guy like Carolla. I'd say their popularity is a testament to how badly people desire sports talk that doesn't take itself seriously, and doesn't take anyone else seriously, either. From what I've heard, they're not even staunchly anti-SJW.

The latter might be true, the former is most definitely bullshit, because every kid on every one of my youth baseball teams knew which kid's parents killed it with snacks.

Pretty sure that's why my kids play anything. Well, my youngest boy for sure.

My son was in machine pitch Cal Ripken this year. His first year of "real" baseball. He worked hard and got a lot better as the season went on, even though his team was really bad. Without fail after EVERY game, his first question to me was "Can we go to the concession stand?" Only as we were on the way to get candy did he ask "Did we win or lose?"
