That was the best or at the very least, one of the best Hawk interviews I have ever heard.

Recommend listening to the podcast later when it is uploaded, boys.

Riffed on lots of things... Joe West, Don Drysdale, Joe Maddon, AJ, Perfecto, Farmio, etc.

Bears pregame on 670 (Yes, I know the game is at 3:25) Dan Pompei sitting in for Snapper with Hub.

Pompei gives good football. Should be a good listen.

Pregame on 670 early because of Cubs game at noon.

What did he say about Drysdale? They were a great broadcast team.

Nothing but praise. I'm paraphrasing but Hawk said Don was hands down the best baseball broadcaster and partner period.

Hawk had kind words for Don's widow as well.

Hawk joked that he was never afraid to fight another team's broadcast booth because he and Don could've took anybody.

Agreed, br, they were very good together.

Just fired it up as I clean up the Noisewater Studios.

Let's see what Hub knows.

That's good.

I guess I don't find Hub as good or as bad as most people do.

Somewhere in the middle...

The thing I like about Hub that you don't find in sports radio that often is that he tends to talk about sports.

Right?

Been listening to The Score for a couple of hours this morning. I'm pleased to say that I haven't heard; "Addison Russell" one time yet.

I wonder if I could get that ED drug that advertises on The Score that makes you look 15 years younger, turns your wife into a puddle of jelly, and gives you rock hard bones to sponsor the podcast?

They should be blowing you up begging to take them on as sponsors, Doc.

Listening to Sports Medicine Weekly right now with Steve Kashul and a Dr. Brian Cole on The Score. They just had Tommy John's son on who is also named Tommy John (they didn't say junior) and is a chiropractor and sports medicine guru. Pretty interesting stuff.

They talked a lot about young kids coming up in sports today with the camps, clinics, etc. and the parents who are throwing billions of dollars a year on these programs. Some good some bad.

Anybody with kids who are serious about athletics should listen to the podcast when it is posted. He gave some good advice and suggestions to avoid pitfalls to keep your kid healthy throughout the athletic ride.

 Good one, DB. Listening again this morning and enjoying it still.

REALLY. SMART. RADIO.

I'm old and need the info/advice they give about aches, pains and injuries.

Plus, always liked Kash - my guy!

I'm liking Boers and Rosenbloom.

Two guys who don't care letting good sports stories and sports talk flow unfiltered.

Nice.

Julie DiCaro appears tonight on WTTW's Chicago Tonight Week in Review.

Usually, Mike Mulligan sits in for the sports perspective.

Let's see if Dicaro is using filters on her pics or if her fat face has truly shrunk.

 @ Peoria Matt.

Just texted in to Schuster, Spiegel & Rosenbloom about movies.

"I thought the Stan & Ollie movie was about GarPax."

Paraphrasing here, PM. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Listening to Hub interviewing Chuck Swirsky this afternoon.

I like the Swirsk. Giving some good thoughts on Da Boo without breaking negative.

Fair and thoughtful observations by Chuck. Enjoying this.

I heard what I guess was the last half of that interview. Hub asked Swirsky why big-name free agents were not coming to Chicago, then added he doesn't understand why they wouldn't want to come to Chicago, but some people say or there is the impression out there that they do not.

OK, Hub, you live in Chicago and work in sports media in Chicago but don't know why big-name free agents don't want to come here to play for the Bulls.

Swirsky said he didn't know, either, and laughed off the notion that it might be because of anyone managment or the coach.

I expect Swirsky to pretend not to know. It's pitiful for Hub to pretend he doesn't know.

Hub giggles before he even spits out a thought. He had the wrong name of the Hawks young goaltender. He was stumbling to speak clearly.

I generally like Hub, but not solo.
