You know, my opinion is slowly starting to change on Hub, and he seems to have softened his stance on hating certain parts of the Bears organization.

Give me a few more months and I may join this prestigious group.

I've listened to Hubert for years

...don't like it...

It's not the smugness or anything. I can appreciate that. He's just not entertaining at all. I mean not even a little bit. I know I'm one of those rare people who value entertainment over hard hitting info when it comes to sports talk radio hosts, but even those guys have to find Hub ill prepared and down right boring sometimes. I find him to be that way most of the time...

I won't go as far as ALS'er, but I do like Hub. He's changed a lot from the "where did you play your football" days of the Dick Jauron show.

He was kind of a tool when he first joined WSCR. I believe he had a beef with North. Seems he may have broke bad about him a couple of times, or maybe it was the other way around. He has assimilated nicely into the WSCR fold as time has passed. The occasional, ok common, shot across the Bears bow is pretty amusing.

I too have changed my thinking on Hub. Where once he was lost, now I'm profound. Or something to that effect. He can hold his own when talking other sports, which is always a plus.

I've never heard an insider be more wrong more often than Hub. I could take the smarmy if I knew he was correct.

I do like the respect he has for his listeners. I do appreciate a good 4 hour block of talking football.
