I've heard him before when i used to go to KC for business every once in a while. Sorta nondescript, but better than McKnight or Rongey. Would be good enough for 6p-midnight.

Does anybody remember when WGN brought in that guy from SF to do mornings? He got roasted because he kept on doing non local things like pronouncing Devon Avenue wrong. I have a feeling that 670 listeners may exhibit the same tendencies.

He wouldn't leave KC afternoons for Chicago 6-10pm. He said he was doing well in the ratings there. Even though it's a bigger market it's a step back. Mainly because the 6-10 slot is mostly games. Larry is barely on.

This guy was born in Chicago and was a producer for MJH. So he knows Chicago.

He's a Chicagoan, tribesman, and company man. Checks all the boxes!

I didn't know he was Jewish. So maybe he will be Bernstein's partner. Bernstein has probably told Mitch he wants that.

That makes more sense now that he is a local guy, stick him with Spiers then, and go to The Dan Bernstein Show with Jason Goff and Drinky.

We know. He tweeted that Friday is his last KC show. Mitch told the Trib he was hoping for an announcement by the end of the month. It will probably be announced on Friday or Monday.

My guess on the changes:

9A-Noon: McNeil and Spiegel
Noon-3P: Holmes and Parkins
3P-7P: Goff and Bernstein

The KC Star interviewd Parkins. Parkins says he hopes to announce where he is going on Friday.

I'd at least listen to Mac and Spiegs again, and I'd see what happened with the new show, but would now not need to tune in for any reason between 3-7.

My guess is that everybody is overthinking it. Holmes jumps to Bernstein's show and Parkins goes evenings.
