YOu think Cubs fans colluded with Morresey to write this garbage?

Morrisey is a Cubs fan.

And the media (made up of mostly Cubs fans) has pushed this phony narrative that the Sox are "afraid" to trade with the Cubs. It's a two way street. They've only made about 13 trades in the history of the two teams. Do you think Theo wants to risk having Jimenez play his Hall of Fame career on the South side while Quintana goes 40-42 for the Cubs over the next three years?

Theo was on the radio the other day and pretty much said the same. I didn't like watching Jon Garland do what he did for / with the Sox. The whole article is so sophomoric it's almost Onion worthy.

That's the funniest part. It was a story for days until Theo finally told the media and many Cubs fans that they don't want to trade with the Sox and then suddenly it all changed.

I'm guessing deep down a lot of Cubs fans still think it's mostly the Sox that shut it all down.

Do you disagree? Let's talk in general. Which of these do you think most Cubs fans believe about Sox fans and the Sox organization?

1) The Sox care less about the Cubs than the Cubs care about the Sox.
2) The Sox and Cubs care equally.
3) The Sox care more about the Cubs than the Cubs care about the Sox.

My perception is most Cubs fans believe 3 is correct.

I have no idea. On this board, I think the answer is clearly "c" because it's the correct answer.

Why do you have an issue with facts?

Sox fleeced the Cub in the Steve Renko and Steve Swisher, Stone for Santo trade too....if I'm Theo, no way I deal
with Hahn and the boys either, history not on the Cub side in these deals.

I think the Sosa deal is really the thorn in the side of Jerry. But how was he to know that Sosa would load his body to the brim with steroids.

The Santo deal was a disaster for the Sox. That diabetic turd destroyed the team.

There is almost no down side to the Sox trading with the Cubbies right now. If they trade for Cubbie prospects and they fail, those players all have the seal of approval from the unbiased third parties who have never applied for a job in an Epstein administration.

The downside for the Cubbies is immense. Any trade that doesn't result in a world series is a failure.
