DiCaro and the other woman had a show up against ESPNW with Sarah Spain and Kate Fagan. The ESPN show seemed very professional, decent guests including a hockey guy. They talked about "women in sports" but it felt natural and was actually an issue. The Score show seemed like amateur hour with idiots who know nothing, but complained long enough to get a shot. There are plenty of women that can talk sports hell if they rehired Sweica she'd be in the running for best host on the station. The score is feeding us this diversity quota crap. Diversity is important, but slots still need to be earned and not given. |

It's fascinating how Sarah Spain is the opposite of the Face For Radio trope: she has a cartoonishly curvy body but sounds like the original bailiff from Night Court. |

She actually talked for about 90 seconds in a non-gravelly voice, but she said she really can't do it in long stretches any more. |

Add WGN to the weekend horror show. Mark Carmen and Harry, whining like little bitches. No one must track ratings on Saturdays, otherwise Sarah and he Mule faced friend and Mark and Harry wouldn't be on. It sounds like radio from college towns. Hell they all make Ed Farmer sound like a HOF broadcaster. |

Mark Carman and Jared Payton wasn't too bad on WGN in that time slot on Saturdays. I don't know why Jared got replaced (scheduling issues?) by Tiny but Harry is turrible. The few times I tuned in it sounded like he was hopped up on caffeine, Viagra and Adderall. I like Jared Payton on the radio. He's a likeable guy. Carman is okay but with Tiny... ugh. |

I think Payton is doing a TV spot weekdays now, as WGN clings to the family legacy because, I don't know, I guess they think that Brittney and Jared are inoffensive black people for the crackers living in places like Countryside, Streamwood and Dyer who need their Tom Skilling fix. That being said, Brittney before she got pregnant had a nice ass, haven't seen her since. |

We seem to have an unusually large amount of people in radio in this city with speech impediments, defying the one and only apparent prerequisite of working in the industry. Maybe this city is just know for being the collecting point for radio people with maladies. |
