He attended Waubonsie Valley High School outside of Chicago, lettering in baseball and helping to lead the team to the state championship game his senior year. new on-field person is Taylor McGregor (so not Kelly Crull)

a cavalcade of former Cubs will be doing analysis, it doesn't read like there will be one dedicated person doing post game, or maybe they just haven't figured it out yet. They are also promising these former players going to the booth for some periods in the game, which will be bad I'm sure.

And oddly, Chris Myers is committed to both studio and play-by-play...I suppose only as a fill-in as he said he's still full time at Fox Sports.

All in all, looks like no poaching of other Chicago media personalities. Outside of Doug Glanville I guess.

Chris Myers as a fill-in guy is interesting. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in 15 years I don't think Len Kasper has ever missed a game. I guess Len could correct me himself, he posts here if Beardown hasn't run him off. I don't recall anyone else ever sitting in.
