I would love to see her return to displace JDC.

Or at least give her three minutes to cut a scathing promo on Julie.

Julie was a fuckin' pioneer. She handled her shifts in the middle of that boy's club with aplomb. Her raison d'etre wasn't kicking against an imaginary glass ceiling. She just talked sports. She was better than most who are at the station currently.

She used to do news reads for the regional radio places out here. It was always suprising when I would hear her voice come on doing reads for pork bellies or some news. It was while she was still working for the score. I liked her show for the most part back in the day if for no other reason to laugh at the callers.

Yep her and Peggy Kusinski didn't need some over-blown social media platform to get, keep, and be good at their jobs when there was some 1st class sexism going on.

I remember when Spiegel was being teamed up with various partners for a week or so including Peggy Kusinski - basically "radio partner try outs". (This was before Mitch hired this new guy). I thought she did very well and seemed to have pretty good chemistry with Matt.

I think the midday show would be much better with Kusinski.

LoHo having a hissy fit on his FB that people dared to use this to point out how much JDC sucks without even mentioning her name.

I didn't mind Julie as a host. In fact, I loved her work regarding baseball on Sunday mornings. However, she blew her own credibility as a reporter.

Never heard him referred to as Her Own Credibility before.

She clearly loved baseball, and was good at talking about it. I remember her saying once that Konerko had to be hurt "because he can't possibly stink this badly."

In a different era, she'd have gone and worked for MLB Network or one of the blogging consortia.

I liked Peggy K. on CSN and Channel 5, but I didn't like her tryout. I just don't think she had the right chemistry for it.

She also used to host (with Grote IIRC?) the Sunday NFL stringer show, which was a nice listen while the games were going on.

I've heard Score guys hint at it.

Did Julie really bang Terry Bevington?

I wouldn't think less of her that she was a reporter that banged a sports guy that she covers. I would think less of her that SHE BANGED TERRY BEVINGTON. That's the issue. What self respecting women would bang him.

I think that he was like 20 years older than her. And he was a dumb ass fat slob.

Haha

I'll never forget how Julie got Les fired for misusing her credential. I was pissed at her for the time because it led to Tommy Williams overnight.

Funny after all these years she still hates him.
