He is by far the best beat guy in the city and this is coming from someone who doesn’t really like basketball. Prepared , professional, insightful . He gets it done.

Yep, he's always been solid. It also helps that he doesn't have his head shoved up GarPax's ass like KC Johnson.

He's a good listen with Hood. Has a good sense of humor and doesn't get all bent out of shape if a host disagrees with him. He filled in on Sarah Spain's show with her (or maybe they were both filling in for someone else) and was also a good listen.

Thats the thing, Ive heard him go after GarPax , Holberg, Jimmy( when he was on the team) , several times . He isnt afraid to speak his mind even if its negative towards those guys but doesnt take cheap shots. Doesnt seemed worried about them getting mad at him. Perfect example of how you can do your job without being a homer 100% of the time.

Friedell and Jeff Dickerson both do their jobs very well.
