I assume they're still keeping "The beat" on Saturdays. I catch some of that while driving. Harry Tinoweitz and Mark Carmen do that show. I swear to God, I turn on some of these other WGN 720 weekend shows just to check out what they've got going and wonder who the hell listens to this shit? |

growing up I was desperate for any sports talk. WGN committed as many hours as any, but the Sox were never ever discussed. |

Doesn't this mostly have to do with not trying to go up against baseball all summer, where games and post game routinely spills well into the 4pm hour? Life was simpler when The Sportswriters would come on at 4 or 5pm Sunday and Floyd Brown hosted the show after that. |

Should never of cancelled the Noon Show. I kid but agree that the station which was never high in my rotation outside of sports broadcasts has dipped even further in my commercial break button pushing. |
