I had his show on for a quick errand tonight before work. in between his intro for reeeeely important news and introducing his guest for the show - Leila Rahimi (complete with LoHo making some really ridiculous and gross menstruation/period puns, wtf?) he informed his listener (Hello!) that he and

He's right though. He can take his TV experience almost anywhere in the country and make a decent living for the rest of his life. Hell, he could do that with his radio experience. If he wants to stay in Chicago sports talk, though, that means going to WMVP or hoping Les has a coronary.

remember when Laurence had his "chicks on the new TV shows who could get it" segment? Good times.

I woke up around 1030pm and Les was on so hey you know, works for me!

he was laying the jive pretty hard. either because Leila was in studio with him and he was trying to be cool or because he soon thereafter started talking about Peanut Tillman

Between all the creepy and cringeworthy things he's said in the past and apparently still says, I would think that sooner or later he's going to be accused of sexual impropriety/harassment either by a woman in the media or a student. People have been accused for doing things in private that are more innocuous than a guy who's earned the nickname "Leery" because of things he has said on the air.

I think mitch gave that same speech to Abattaclueless right before he quit to drive for Uber. How can that clown Mitch guarantee anything anyway, he's on his way out too.

Sir's entire self identity is based in Score employment. However, his type of show would be perfect at ESPN and his professionalism would probably lead to some national work. It might be time for him to move on. He's been issued quite a few professional indignities at the hands of the Score over the past year or so.

I worked at a big organization early in my career. One of my superiors who had done very well in the business told me that these organizations will never respect your loyalty nor reciprocate. The only way to continually ascend is to always be looking for your next employment. Either the threat of movement will increase your position/salary at the present organization or you will move on to a better position.

Wmvp doesn't want him, he tried to find a new gig the last 2 years..he ended up back at the score.

Laurence isn't going anywhere. He would stay on as the janitor at WSCR if it meant he could still patrol the hallways. He's the most versatile guy they have on the roster. He'll work any shift you ask him to, and fill-in at any time. Out of all the guys at the station he seems to enjoy his job the most.

Laurence has enormous potential. He's limited himself in the past as dolphin said by his want to be identified as a Score guy.

MVP would take him in a second.

He said himself the last two years he was a " free agent" you don't think he applied for the biggest sports network in Chicago and the country? I know you and GD and Ken like him..most of us think he sucks, the industry has agreed with us.. If not for his agent Mitch he'd be in Omaha or Tulsa.

If he can convince Mrs. Holmes, he could land a good gig in Phoenix, where he claims to already have a condo. Lots of ex-Chicagoans so he could do appearances that are Chicago-focused to make up the cash difference.

He is going to have one of the new score players on tomorrow. You don't don't come from another station and do an in studio guest appearance for the hell of it.

Potential to be hired in sports radio or doing TV, yes.

I'm not saying he'd be good at either. But someone will hire him.

Don't know about his future, that's anybody's guess.
Ain't no good reason for getting all distressed.
Though Mitch may be prehensile, I'll give you a piece of my mind,
On that radio station, Sir Larry's gonna surely decline.

When he's not acting like a supplicating creep around women and Dan Bernstein, Laurence is a very talented broadcaster. If there's no room for him at the Score with the Bulls and Cubs dominating evenings, he'll land on his feet at CSN or something.

Ramie Makhlouf sounds good tonight. Leila Rahimi always sounds good when she sits on in the radio. I'd consider her for middays.

This guy gets it.

312, you'd think you'd have learned from the Alex Smith beat down.
