Is this guy the biggest d-bag in Chicago sports media? I have no idea why Waddle and Silvy have him on besides being mandated by ABC/ESPN. I guess i never got why people liked this guy

I always was a huge fan of giangreco. I know he didn't have ill will in his stupid Wally comment on live TV but he should have been fired for it.

Now he's playing Goff bashing president Trump to top it off.

Besides promoting the sponsor, Chicago Cut restraurant, and talking a bit about his personal life he doesn't add much to the show. Given what he does for a living he doesn't really seem to know much about sports as his opinion usually sound like those or a bad caller.

Dude, this Giangreco guy knows Buffalo sports like no else in the city, Sabres, Bills, even Patty Kane and his peeps, I think, the guy knows the inside scoop!

always liked him because the man would actually show blackhawk highlites and had a thought or two about hockey. tim weigel was the same way...jim rose would spend 54 seconds on a bulls preseason game and then quickly tells us the score of the hawks' home opener.

channel 9 used to show hawk road games with a northwest orient airlines commercial at every break. as a kid, i remember rick talley and brickhouse do sports on their nightly news.

i rate my sports anchors based on the hockey exposure they gave their audience. i suppose bulls fans did and do the same with bulls exposure.

Well couple things there . Giangreco walked back his original take at some point while Julie continues to " believe the victim". Giangreco doesnt go on daily unhinged hypocritical rants that continually paint him as some sort of victim. Other than that youre correct, they should have the same amount of coverage here.

Enjoyed Giangreco's W&S appearances back shortly after the demise of MJ&H and everyone was listening to W&S for a minute (iirc). Always seemed to be getting Waddle into trouble out drinking. Mark might've been recently divorced and enjoying a 2nd go at his 20's.
