Larry going on about his athletic ability again

He has found a place in his house where he can swing a bat....and he can still throw 70mph....

BS

Not a fucking chance he can throw 70mph. My guess is he'd top off at 55-58 max.

the trick is to play Sir and Dan's egos against each other and see if Dan could turn on one of Sir's 70 MPH pitches

Sir can throw it from 50' so it really seems like a 90mph heater.

Its a train that is never late. Transition with B&M always has Larry talking about himself within the first two minutes. No matter what the topic, he will make it about him in a short time. Then in just as short a time, I ptfb.

I was sick last Monday so I was listening to some Dan and Mcdick. I actually enjoyed the show. They went to transition and I remembered all the creepy Sir traits I had forgotten he had.

He isn't a bad guy. He's just a weird guy. I feel bad for him that he doesn't have kids. I think that would have calmed him down a bit and he would have been a great father.

Maybe because I am so used to him in the evenings the Larry show seems out of place to me now. Also as someone else mentioned it is a sort of replay or roundup show that is not needed.

Latest Delusional moment for Larry.

He claims he was a really good tennis player with a USTA ranking.

Bull fucking shit.

He is truly becoming Julie.

Anyone who constantly refers to their wife as "panther" in public has some issues.

white panther

That strikes me as an unaware nickname in a mixed race marriage. Maybe they have some fetish.

I mean how far now did these rankings go? I could probably get rank in the official world golf rankings, but there would certainly be two commas in my ranking. Likely even a third comma.

It's not even an organically developed term of endearment, he got it secondhand from Dan Bernstein making fun of a bench player on the Vinny Del Negro Bulls.

Looking into this more, USTA ranking is similar to a hanidcap in golf or bowling. It basically just "ranks" your skill level. Literally ANYBODY that can walk can have a UTSA ranking.

For example RFDC, you and I would be have a USTA ranking of a 2.5 right now as we sit. We are total beginners, but have enough coordination to move around the court and hit the ball with a racket. We may have no idea where the ball is going after contact, but we're not a 2.0 like Milosh out there either.

Sir was probably between a 3.5; a player who hits the ball over the net and in play more often than not, and a 4.0; On par with a high school player who can hit and control the ball, but generally cannot implement strategy on exactly where to place the ball to score points.

Sir wasn't wrong, but it's not something to brag about either.

Edit- For reference, a pro is a 7.0

It's identical to his MLB tryout. It happened but it didn't really happen.

I understand how the rankings work. I have helped my players figure out their rankings for tournaments.

The conversation was about high level athletes playing multiple sports to better their athletic ability. And Larry used himself as a baseball player who could also switch over and play tennis at a really high level ...a level high enough to have a USTA ranking. He is full of shit as always. It really is the male version of Dicaro at the station. It is like he has to continue to make himself believe he was really a great athlete

I am not disagreeing with you in that Sir is a total pudwhack and greatly exaggerates MANY of his past athletic achievements. What I'm saying that based on what I read, anybody who is mobile can have a USTA ranking. Just like how you can join an accredited bowling league today, and have an official USBC handicap by tomorrow morning.

My point is he was using the USTA rating comment to try and fool people (and continue to convince himself) into thinking he was some high level athlete. That was the only reason he made that comment.

Right, a skill-level rating and a ranking are two entirely different things.

When I played in racquetball tournaments, I competed at the "A" skill level, but I certainly didn't have a professional International Racquetball Tour ranking.

In those tournaments, was Sauerbraun listed as a D, for Douchebag?

Just announced he took a paycut. Making it sound like it was his choice

Also said Julie had an "eloquent" post about her own dismissal yesterday.

Laurence is making the right choice. Taking a small cut of his $500,000 salary to help some lowly staffers stay employed is a great move.
