Mignight to 5am-Les
5 to 9am- Speigel filling for one of M & H
9 to noon- Bernstein
noon to 4pm- early east coast ZZ Cubs pre/post and in game frivolity
4 to 6pm- Parkins
6-10pm- schuster east coast Bulls pre/post and in game
10-midnight- one of Les's early starts

Station was actually much more socioeconomically diverse, and much more entertaining, when it started. Basically a bunch of guys from very wealthy backgrounds who memorized stats from the back of baseball cards trying to do sports talk radio for the masses, a painful listen because it's basically a bunch of the same exact guys with the same exact background with the same exact thoughts putting on shows they know would be acceptable for their friends and families. A painful listen for the majority, who have for the most part stopped listening.

Parkins just went 24 hours but he is as jewish as Paul Rudd

In my 25 years of doing this I've had more than a few of my African American clients tell me that they hired me because "you gotta get yourself a Jewish lawyer". That's one stereotype I never complained about.

vito, i like your posts - i may be the only one who follows your posts on the grobber beat. i don't understand your fixation with jewish hosts on the score. when i first started posting here, i was called an anti-semite, someone jealous with no money - ridiculous accusations because i dared to criticize bernstein and point out his hypocrisy as he ridiculed other euro ethnic groups and other christian denominations outside of judaism. the hypocrisy of his moral rants on forced inclusion here and the reality of exclusion in israel.

i believe bernstein is a super zionist. ok, it's no big deal to me. i believe it's a good thing..but, that's neither here or there.

when i read the station had a 74% jewish footprint on whatever day, i automatically think of the nuremberg laws and charts.



the nazis considered you jewish if 75% of your grandparents were jewish. i read here that the score was 74% jewish on a particular day and that 1% difference means that even the nazis wouldn't consider the 74% footprint as 'jewish'. i guess they'd say 'mixed - 1st grade'.

in other words...it's no big deal. forget about it. post about the grobber.

With Chicagoland's Jewish population at 1-2%. The Score being 74% Jewish Thursday is a valid observation.
