I can never tell when shows are produced by certain people. Does having a certain person producing a show change it for you? Hosts always give love to their producers, but in general can they not just plug and run a show with anyone?

Much of The radio programming is done by consultants now a days. Not much need for an actual producer, even in Sportsradio.

But they still answer phones and play spots so while their creative talents may be hampered, their technical work is still noticeable
