Every time this dickhead gets on the air he says something dumber than the last. Years of it. I would like to compile the worst of his blabbering water-carrying bullshit for posterity. I regret not writing most of it down over the years but i can start with these.

"Justin Fields is the third best quarterback on the team"-Preseason 2021

"Quarterbacks don't worry about interceptions in training camp" -11-2-21

There are many, many more. Feel free to add your favorites.

Hub has a great voice for radio…unfortunately it’s what he says that’s annoying.

Hub is fine in small doses and nostalgia squirrel is taken back to the old radio booth of his youth when he hears him.

There's literally nothing left that's listenable at the Score, except for Hub, and guests. He talks all sports when he guest hosts. Gets some good calls. Doesn't go overboard forcing his liberalism on listeners. Didn't bow down to Colin Kaepernick.

Hub does some great work with the Special Olympics too.

I'll disagree with him at times but I have no personal issues with Hub. Seems like a solid guy.

Wasn't there a multi-page "Wisdom of Hub" thread a while back?

It was a like a reverse shmooz because it wasn't really about things he said that were wise.

I like Hub but I'm glad he's not doing the Bears post game anymore. He just makes excuses.

On a similar vein, I remember in 2008 after the Bills started 4-0, Hub telling Boers and Bernstein “Nobody wants to hear it but I’ve been saying for years that Dick Jauron is a great coach”. They also finished 7-9.

Liked the angry/honest Hub we got for a few years after he was launched from the Bears radio booth, but any he is in a very difficult position professionally. His family business, which employs several of his kids, is completely dependent upon unfettered access to the NFL, and requires a very close relationship with the Bears organization.

It is possible to process Hub's takes once you understand the constraints he must operate under, but his defense of the teams ownership is cringeworthy at times. Remember a very specific exchange he had with Olin where Hub was claiming Ted Phillips has nothing to do with football operations, he does this all the time dismissively with callers as well, Olin rightly pointed out that Ted and George are the two that pick GM/Coaches, so he is not only involved in football operations, he is one of the primary people in the organization that sets the course for all football operations.

The old man with the earring look is too much for me to ever completely like him. It just says something about a person. He's quietly got a lot of Uncle Rico in him with his 1,000 push ups per day and implying that he played football at Michigan. There are far too many transgressions on the air for me to just dismiss. He's arrogant whenever he is given a seat of power.

That said, I do like his work when he gets a full shift. He has a good tone for radio

I believe Hub was on Twitter earlier this spring/summer suggesting that people who weren't masking at an outdoor soccer game in which he attended were irresponsible. Hub is a clown.

Did he say it was terrifying? And then 2 weeks later did he do mental gymnastics to convince himself if he attended a game at his alma mater it was actually really safe?

So what would he have us do with Rodgers, who lied about his immunization status thereby potentially infecting tons of people? Will be interesting to see how strong they come after him. More of a do as I say not as I do with these types.

Not the sharpest tool in the shed but he has a good voice and seems like a genuine good guy.

I love him on pro Football Weekly, that's where I hear/see him mostly these days.

He has a family business? What buisness is that? I'm surprised he would own any kind of business

not on Twitter but on the radio (Score?), I heard him say something like this also. I was a little shocked he would say somethin' like that, and was quite pissed at him for it. Stop bringing Covid and politics into sports radio.

Hub just said that Bilal Nichols has developed into the kind of player you want to re-sign.

WTF?

Nichols has had a really disappointing season and is gradually working his way to the top of my launch list.

He sounded a little "off" in the little bit I caught of his appearance today.
