I heard that today. Drinky said the wedding is in a few months.

I'm jealous. Not joking. He's gotten three. I can't get one. He's better than me. He's a stud.

God bless this new one.

Congratulations, drinky.

Is Ice Girl his latest soul mate? Or has he found/impregnated someone new?

I miss the IceGirl days here. She was fun to get worked up.

I think drinky is more a gut rehab than a fixer upper at this point.

Is he still running his Sunday Dinners with Matt operation?

His fiancee is a very lucky lady!

Drinky, I don't expect to be invited to this one. We still need time to heal the wounds of our feud.

But dammit, I will be offended if I'm not invited to the 4th one!!

I'd be amazed if you weren't the bride in the 4th one...

As someone who is on his second marriage, I can honestly say....you do it a 3rd time and you clearly just like getting married and it's time to give up.

If I remember correctly he has one kid that's pretty much emancipated.....not sure if he and the mom were marrried.
He had 2 kids with someone in Libertyville who he was married to and that's when Ice Girl came into the picture.
Now....did Ice Girl have his baby? I believe that did happen.
Now we seem to be on wife #3.

Drinky is my fucking hero

Why would anyone want to marry a man with 4 kids by 3 different women?

How does he afford that on a low level sales rep salary?

Why do you seem so concerned with how others make their living, and how high or low their W2 might be?

The attitude on that camel-nose fuck. He ever cheats on this third wife I'm gonna tear him apart piece by piece. Did you ever notice he's the only motherfucker who can smoke a cigarette in the rain with his hands tied behind his back? That nose is like a natural canopy.

Seems like the sexless marriage type. Just can't pass out alone. And many women are into that. It's a mental thing chicks dig it

Listened to something from Feb YouTube, drinky on with S&P. He sounded closer to what he was when he was younger than what he became. I think he would have been better off following more Mac's path than Bernstein's. It would have made more sense too. It occurred to me that I liked him infinitely more than S or P, even at his worst. It's too bad.

Abattacola and Rongey would’ve made an awesome show.

Did Rongey ever have a show? I thought he was a good update, fill in, or pre/post game guy but never thought of him as a host.

I thought drinky was good with goff. I'd have liked to hear him with Mac. Him and Terry seemed to have a nice relationship.

Rongey was never full time at the SCORE for regular shows. Just a fill in/update guy. He was the Sox pre and post game guy for a decade or so.

But Rongey got a show in St. Louis recently. Not sports. General talk. Politics and social issues. That type of show. At KMOX. Big time station. Makes me laugh that anybody would want to hear Rongey on real life issues. But it's St. Louis. So maybe it will work. Good for him for convincing somebody to hire him for this type of show.

Matt's a charismatic guy. He was always the fun, smart ass of B and B. He and Goff were good together and I thought both would be a retro type of show to the golden era of the station at a time that every other host was doing a Bernstein parody.

A lot of drinky & Goff was a slightly dumber version of B & B, though drinky also tried to incorporate old school fun into the show as well.

he had white sox post games.... rongey rambles and rambles and rambles and rambles.... and after 5 minutes you realize he actually hasn't said anything of substance. he's not a full time host. grote without the impersonations.

Rongey is only consistently entertaining as a host when paired with Bernstein. And since Boers' retirement, Bernstein is only consistently entertaining when paired with Rongey.

grats to Abbatacola. say what you want, but I'll never forget the time he visited ICB (it's called something else now; I cut ties with them long ago) and was so goddamned nice to me. even invited me out for cocktails at the lodge. I went. Goff was there. They were very, very nice - also entertaining as fk. you'll never convince me he shouldn't have had his own show. him and the ranger would have been gold. he brought something to the score that's really lacking now. I laugh my a** off at old B&B clips with him chiming in.

It's cool that someone of drinky's exalted stature was once kind to you, but this hardly means he would excel as a full-time radio host. In fact, there's plenty of evidence to suggest that the opposite is true. The same can be said for Ranger, who was unlistenable as the White Sox postgame host, floundered as a solo part-time host, and has only ever been entertaining on the air with Bernstein as his partner.
