By the way, why are there Tall Midget and Beardown posters that aren't really them (no post count, avatar,etc..) ? Were they first incarnations of their profiles?


Back in the early days of the board, you didn't need to be logged in to post, but you could still add a name- it would just keep the post under "guest". However, the down side of that was that the board was littered with spam for poker sites, and once a group of Turkish hackers overran the board (or something). BigFan stepped in and required registration.
