Norths pal and Annes husband Harvey Wells fired Johnny Mars from WXRT & now The Mess known as The Nine.

Dialing: Mars barred
•It's over and out for Johnny Mars as afternoon personality on "Nine FM," the Newsweb Corp. eclectic simulcast combo of WDEK-FM (92.5), WKIE-FM (92.7) and WRZA-FM (99.9).

A 21-year veteran of CBS Radio adult rock WXRT-FM (93.1), Mars joined "Nine FM" in 2004. His last day on the air was Friday.
