I'm on the left side of the state so i don't know much about her but apparently she's a chicago girl. She is now on espn radio Sedano and spain and it it excruciatingly painful to listen to on the drive home. i used to bernstein breaks with Lebetard but now its just awful. fox sports radio at that time is the freaking drummer from the black crowes talking sports..ZZzzzZZzzzZZzzzZZZ hate the drive home now.

maybe they saw those old pictures of her from the waist up where she looked like a TOTAL BABE!!!!!!! and combine in her cornell education or whatever and it was a win win win.... there NEEDS to be more women talking sports, sarah spain used to be fine as hell if you didnt try to pursue why she seemingly only existed from the midsection up, and hey people wanna listen to fine women who know what the hell they're talking about talking sports.

only problem is that i think sarah put on a significant amount of weight and she doesnt really come off as all that smart/knowledgeable and uhhhhhh... yeha, still to this day her biggest claim to fame was auctioning herself off to be someone's date to the superbowl or something. so i guess she's pushed lower down the ranks over @ the mouse to wherever you hear her.

c'est la vie. at least for a few years you could hear sarah spain and imagine you were listening to a total-package-9/dime and it was awesome..

Sarah Spain is engaged to some Wisconsin-born Lincoln Park douchechad who writes an unfunny Chicago sports version of The Onion. I find this interesting, don't know why. I guess I figured she'd marry up.

Sarah is engaged to Brad Zibung, who is a good dude and was awfully damn close to being part of this whole thing right here. The name Heckler (which is his) came out of the old ChicagoFanClub.com offices. Brad also had/had RightFieldSucks.com.

I didnt love THE HECKLER concept at first, but it grew on me over time and would have been part of it. I think he has done a very good job of it.

All that said, Sarah is really all about the "Girl Power" like no other before. Now, I dont know how much she believes it or she sees it as a vehicle to national exposure...guessing 75% of the exposure part. Reports from coworkers arent so great, many stay away from any issues with her, because they dont want the label of the woman hater on them, which they feel she would love to play the card.

She loves tweeting out anything done by any female in any arena of sports like it is an accomplishment.

Sarah going strictly national ESPN...

After today, Sarah Spain will no longer be providing sports updates on WMVP-AM/ESPN 1000. She was not fired and didn't quit, though. Spain calls it being "traded." She will now be working only with ESPN on a national level. Spain will continue to be based out of Chicago, but will be seen more delivering reports on ESPN's "SportsCenter," working more with espnW, and doing fill-in work for ESPN Radio.
