i had always thought artie won because he had such a big lead; but then Howard 101 was replaying some classics and that had happened to be on, and i listened to the whole thing again. it was pissing robin off that artie was crushing her...but in the end, she came back and won. i think he had just been worn out.

we've all talked about how stern isn't the same without artie, and that the show's tone has taken a hit because of it. howard's endless vacations, name dropping, and 3-day-work-week but still bemoaning how hard he works, have made it unlistenable a lot of the time.

i'm glad they still play classic stern though, because you can actually hear how great it was when he was on his game.
