Many of the MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL beat reporters or writers I hear as guests on 670 or 1000 are women and it seems like every local and national sports-related show has a woman as one of the hosts, yet Julie frequently says "Women can't get a seat at the table." when it comes to sports media.

There are plenty of women with successful careers in sports media. She can't get a "seat at the table" because she is stupid, lazy, and has very little talent.

EDIT: Apparently Myers' character in the TLG is actually an American who grew up in Asia raised by other gurus. How can you "whitewash" the part of a white American? It also featured a black hockey player beloved by white people, a full year before Subban entered the NHL. This movie is a beacon of progressiveness.

Speed racer is another one that shouldn't be on the list. None of the characters were Asian in the original cartoon, unless you count Chim Chim.
