The editorial points I've read paint Milo as nothing short of an absolute intellectual fraud, one which the book editorial process sussed out and extinguished, apparently. Why exactly is Julie taking such issue with him getting a tentative deal (which is the subject of this litigation, I presume) in the first place?

Is it truly the fact that he got a deal and she doesn't have one yet? Is that calculus really that hard? Milo had a tangible following on the same platform she occupies at least an order of magnitude greater in size, perhaps almost two orders.

Julie just wants to brag that she could, in theory, write a book, and that she (and other Strong Women) can't get as far along in the process as Milo because the world is a terrible place, please like and retweet. Funny enough, Julie and Milo could probably have a very nice discussion over lunch on how to run culture-war grifts, provided they got a third party to pay for their lunch.

It's probably lost on Julie that a professional editor would slice her breezy babbling to ribbons just as mercilessly as this guy did to Milo. And, um, that's like definitely not okay kinda maybe?
