Didn't Lena Dunham actually lie about a rape and have to make a retraction in her book?

In Not That Kind of Girl, Dunham describes the night she was walked home by the acquaintance - a mustachioed Republican who hosted his own campus radio show.

While Dunham admits her memory of the night is hazy, having been drunk and high on cocaine and Xanax, she remains steadfast that she did not consent to having sex with Barry, who was aggressive and twice tried to pull off a condom during the assault.

Both Brietbart and National Review were led by their research to a man named Barry, who was a prominent campus Republican when Dunham attended the institution. They looked for men named Barry, since Dunham did not explicitly state that the attacker's name was changed, as she did for other stories in the book.

She just asked Glanville how scared the Cubs should be of the Dodgers.

You mean the best team in baseball?? Probably not at all.

2. The accuser's charges must never be questioned
3. The accused should be fired/suspended/expelled before the case is tried or charges brought

Julie say that Los Angeles would not be a good venue for the 2028 Olympics because of the bad traffic. Thankfully Maggie brought up the fact that the 1984 Olympics were probably the most successful ever.

I suppose it could, but I'd disagree. The Cubs are the champs until someone takes it away... but they aren't even close to being frontrunners. The Dodgers are far and away the lead dog in the NL. They are the ones who can afford to "worry" about specific teams. The Cubs need to "worry" about just making the playoffs.

How Julie and Maggie are given any airtime is a mystery...it HAS to be Mitch trying not to be sued. They are nails on a chalkboard. I jumped in the car to run an errand and heard them talking about their teenage crushes (Julie's was Dave Martinez and Maggie's was Eddie George ), and then listened to Julie say that Los Angeles would not be a good venue for the 2028 Olympics because of the bad traffic.
