Glad to see you're so secure that you don't want your tastes in what would otherwise be considered an art dictated to you, buddy. Run along, now.

Sounds like you need a little more TB in your life, my son. Don't you ever worry about when it is appropriate to laugh or not? He has the answers.

It's such a cliche, too, the stuff about punching up and punching down. Guy's got no thoughts that weren't taken from the hive mind.

Isn't that also kind of a dig on the minority cultures that are much more [x]-phobic towards these various classes but aren't routinely dogged for it?

Still kinda wondering how Chappelle got away with the anti-vaxx joke he planted right in the middle of his second Netflix special (the one from Texas).

A joke is a joke, it's irrelevant if some unfunny douche who gets paid chump change stole/wrote it or some sprinkler fitter said it in a tavern... Laugh if it's funny or don't.

I don't even believe "minority cultures" are more phobic, there are a higher % of gay's that are black or Asian than any other race.

Why do black gays supposedly hide on the down low then in such great numbers?

From the outside looking in (obviously) it seems like a large portion of the black community is very uncomfortable with gay people. White people we're there as recently as the early 90s though.

Someone should make Tim Baffoe watch the first 12 minutes of Delirious.

Some of the greatest comedy ever performed.

You racist transphobic pieces of crap should all shut the fuck up. I had to investigate a case in Buffalo, Iowa. I entered the home and it was just squalor. There was a fifteen year old transgendered black lesbian wearing a dress whose parents had tied her to a chair and were giving her improvised shock treatments with a cattle prod. I immediately broke down. These are the types of tragedies I see all the time in my line of work yet this one had an extraordinary effect on me. The teen was just beautiful. And I don't mean that in a creepy way.

My rage was rising as I assessed the situation. Since I am barrel-chested I threw the father up against the wall. The police arrived soon thereafter to take him away. I escorted the teen to a shelter in tears. You always want to do more. You need to do more. But you fucking worthless Caller Bobs with your white cis privilege talk shit all day long on a message board with IQs that are one quarter the size of mine. Go fuck yourselves!

This is extremely common among blue-check Twitter libs. That's where the whole "show me the feet" meme is from. Jonathan Chait of New York magazine is a notorious liberal-media internet horndog.

Saw a high school production of The Killer Mockingbird tonight. The program gave a "special thanks" to Tim Baffoe. This is about the intellectual level you get with him.

I'll give the students props, though; they didn't shy away from the N-word (though they did not include "trash," but probably for plot reasons). That's gutsy today. The director talked to the audience about this before the play, but she didn't beleaguer the point, and the word as spoken had its intended effects. Half of that book is fantastic and half of it is garbage, but it's one hell of a story.

Not up to his usual bullshit, this one bizarrely feels like sponsored content:

https://670thescore.radio.com/blogs/tim ... rate-field

Quote:
But it’s also a stone’s throw from two trains that make getting to the park a breeze. Externally, the parking lots are super convenient for family outings and tailgating, and ChiSox Bar and Grill with its indoor and outdoor seating directly across 35th St. provides a cool atmosphere on game days, as well as Cork and Kerry at the Park and Turtle’s, both a short walk away on the other side of Armour Square Park.

I try to make it to multiple games there a year, and I don’t recall a bad seat in the stands that I’ve had. A new personal favorite of mine is paying a few extra bucks to sit in the club level seats with a fine view and extra perks.

And that “amenities” factor? The joint has 39 bathrooms, two places to charge your phone, a place to check your pets (while also usually having a promotion for bringing your dog to a game), statues all over the place to take pictures with and selfie station, the Craft Cave (formerly the Bullpen Bar) of beers on beers on beers, a place to get your shoes shined, the shower from Old Comiskey Park and a bunch of kid-friendly stuff like the Xfinity Fundamentals area. Baseball is a kids’ game and connected to the family experience, and the White Sox provide that in spades at their place.

This is without mentioning the food. Call the park whatever you want, but when you mention it to any Chicagoan worth their salted pretzel, they’ll follow a mention of the park almost immediately with “Oh, great food.” It flat out embarrasses the always-dubbed culturally significant Wrigley Field (like the parking and bathrooms do, too). That grilled onions smell mentioned earlier has been known to ancient cultures as an aphrodisiac. By myself last season, I ate an entire grand slam helmet sundae that filled a full-sized helmet with funnel cake at the bottom that I was unaware of until after I bought it but didn’t quit on it once I’d excavated to it.

The White Sox are known for their drool-worthy new menu items each year, and this season’s aren’t fully public yet, but they've added their take on a horseshoe sandwich to the ranks. They have elotes, corned beef, Tater Tachos, many different wonderful tubed meats, a burger with Merkts cheese, a helmet full of Irish nachos, the Chicago cheese and caramel popcorn mix, tamales and real damn pizza besides all the ballpark stomach standards. I actually get mad at every game I attend because I can’t eat everything I want to, both physically and because I can only take so many horrified looks from people sitting near me.

And ticket prices are always reasonable.

Operators and, uh, cheese sausage helmet sandwich concessionaires are standing by!
