It's still going on.

As of last night they were on letter 'S'

I've heard some good deep cuts I've never heard before

Still on S. We got Southern Cross and Southern Man a few minutes ago. Good back to back classics. Though I'm not the biggest CSNY fan.

If anyone needs their annual 'Stairway To Heaven' fix, now is your time.

Thanks, whistler! I do like trying to guess the next song. They're doing "Hey Jude." I'm going to go "Hey You," but I'm probably missing a "Hey" song.

Clue for you: they just said that there are two Beatles "hey" songs coming up.

Is "Hey There Delilah" classic rock yet?

No "Higher Ground" by Stevie or Chili Peppers, but "Hold Me Now" by the Thompson Twins makes the cut?

That's.....awful.

Hold On Loosely
I could even live with Hootie's "Hold My Hand", but the fucking Thompson Twins?

and anything other than "Do It Again" by Steely Dan is an automatic NO for me. I hate Steely Dan.

"Hold Me Now" and the collected works of Steely Dan are all very good, except some of those duds on Gaucho.

the drive - too many commercials...promotions from the 70s-80s loop and wmet.

album sides weekends were great.

i thought 'the powers that be' were trying to snuff out all this music. tipper gore had a problem with linking ozzy to suicides, but hillary clinton slips in a gangsta' cd into her bentley's cd player?? no worries..having congressional hearings on the ridiculous lyrics would be politically incorrect.

actual musicians = bad.

auto-tuner and beats/sounds = good.

What?

simple, actually.

take a look at a billboard top 40 hits of any week from 1977-1984. you'll get various genres of music: from punk to pop to country to new wave to rock to reggae to funk to r&b. i'd call that very diverse.

today's music? auto-tuners and computer beats. no diversity at all.

you don't remember tipper gore calling out rock music lyrics?? congressional hearings. who calls out music that encourages violence against the police or glorifies the pimping out of women?

I'm a Zappa fan, of course I know what the PMRC is. I don't know what you're talking about with Hillary Clinton listening to gangsta rap in a Bentley.

well, she did say that she always carries a bottle of hot sauce in her purse. i don't know if she said that because it's true, or, because she was pandering for votes.

if true, she drives a bentley.
