Your letter to us mentioned playing the Pretenders. Is it gonna be "Back on the Chain Gang"?

Since it's the Drive I bet it has to be a Boston song.

Awful.

Fleetwood Mac is a Drive favorite, too. Maybe "Never Going Back Again." (Been at the Score one time, been at the Score two times.)

"Beginnings" by Chicago, maybe.

Yes, oddly enough, and it's Cobain's birthday today. You'll probably hear the fucking "Man Who Sold the World" cover at least ten times between the Drive and XRT today.

You could have made up for it by saying All Apologies instead of My apologies but whatever

I would like the first song to be Jackie Blue by the Ozark Mountain Daredevils.

For decades I thought that was sung by a woman. I was stunned when I saw a video of them performing it and found out it was a man singing.

In all seriousness, you don't get to choose the music you would like to play?

Sort of how people think the Silversun Pickups lead singer is a woman.

Of course he doesn't. No corporate radio gig allows that.

I had no clue they didn't allow them to control the music.

Do you think classic rock radio would play the same 200 songs over and over if they allowed their DJ's any sort of control on the playlist?

I have no clue what they would play, it just seems strange to me that a dj doesn't get to pick out the music. I guess I am old.

He's too old to remember with any certainty.
