But lately you live in the jungle
I never see you alone
But we need some definite answers
So I thought I would write you a poem
The question to everyone's answer
Is usually asked from within
But the patterns of the rain
And the truth they contain
Have written my life on your skin

Didn't he go to a concert last month in Detroit and show up for the show the next day? This is not Purple Tits we are talking about.

Unless the White Sox win the World Series, Mac will most likely show up.

That was a month ago.

Bad joke, and tardy.

Or unless the offer is $299,999.99 or under.

You have to listen closely to hear Mac. Pete doesn't point to him much. The traffic girl talks more than Mac.

Gloopan,
What are your thoughts why a guy like Mac made this kind of move late in his career. It would be different if he got to talk about Rock music then play a song to his liking but this seems like guys just picking up paychecks to give 20-30 second talks between news, weather, traffic and maybe a song.

I don't understand how you guys think this.

He was drummed out of AM1000

He's been in rehab and therapy

He doesn't even watch sports anymore.

He was on middays. Your big money guys are in morning or afternoon drive.

He said himself that he had a recession contract.

If he was offered a contract at all, it had to be another recession contract with a lot of conditions, like drug testing and behavior clauses.

We think it because it was widely reported back in the winter.

Quote:
Chicago radio personality Dan McNeil reportedly has turned down a multiyear contract offer to reclaim his old job as midday host at CBS Radio sports/talk WSCR 670 AM /The Score.

McNeil had been considered the top choice to succeed Patrick Mannelly, according to Chicago Media writer Robert Feder. Mannelly announced Monday he was stepping down as midday co-host alongside Matt Spiegel, effective February 13.

My guy was in the room for the negotiations. The CBS suits just insisted on way too many onerous provisions. 1) They will track him by GPS; 2) Daily drug and alcohol treatment; 3) No alcohol for the rest of his life; 4) No internet use; 5) if he wants to spend the night away from home or travel more than 50 miles, Mitch must approve it; 5) random lie detector tests and, while under contract, he is to wear a “penile plethysmograph,” in which a sensor is attached to the penis while an array of drug and alcohol-related images flash before his eyes, to gauge arousal.

On the other hand, I heard Too Hot to Handle by UFO this morning. I know Mackie is throwing his weight around there for sure.

What exactly did I "piss away" Gloop? Retirement savings? House? Career?

All good with me, buddy. Loving the change and the new teammates.
