now the post game mic doesnt even work, they had it mic'ed up WAY too high and they cant hear fox, its all scratchy LOLOLOL north is about to start firing f bombs LOLOL this is getting really good! |

Dont need to tell IKE and dont want to get all techie, but its a fact you got AM radio in a much larger area. Its why AM 1000 used to be owned by Amway. It was for them to communicate with Sales people. |

I turned off Belle & Sebastian to listen to this on the tail end of my jog. At some point going down the street and listening to North talk about Tebow, I caught a strong whiff of raw sewage. It was gross. But something about it made me realize how I feel about listening to North again. It's comforting to hear him, but it's comforting the way getting a bad cold as an adult is comforting: you get a pang of nostalgia for being a little kid and how you pretty much always had a bad cold, and you get grimly resigned to being ill and feeble and not needing to do much. Still, of course, you feel gross, and would rather feel healthy again. I enjoyed that North spent most of the segment having an existential crisis over adding yet another Bears postgame show to the radio just in time for the Bears to have one of their worst seasons in decades, wasting the fidelity of an FM signal on Bears talk in an oversaturated radio market. It was poignantly self-aware, especially for him. |
