Hey Mac, what the hell happened to Goff?

In his own mind, he thought he was more than he was. Arrogance can be the kiss of death.

Good point.

Jason did back this up one of the last times I heard them talking about all the other jobs he can get, so he doesnt worry about anything, because they are throwing the jobs at him.

Pretty naive statements by him. As at one point he was the young , hip, chicago guy, NBA insider, etc....now he is coming into, ex sports guy begging for jobs zone.

Isn't the place that currently employs Mac always the "best place ever" that boasts "the best teammates ever"--that is, until Mac goes bonkers and is either fired or leaves in a huff. Then the best place turns out to be the worst place until Mac is forced to seek re-employment at the worst place, at which point it becomes the best place again.

Mac is the Keith Olbermann of Chicago sports talk.

Olbermann is a driven, professional, perfectionist. Mac is none of those.

Tall Midget, I've been fired by one radio station and it was because I was making too much money. And it's inaccurate to say "I left in a huff" when I left the Score. My conversations with Rod Zimmerman a year ago this past August were amicable... or he wouldn't have sat down with me again last January after Pat left the midday show.

You failed to earn the money you were paid.

Gloop, don't ever confuse activity with accomplishment. ;-)

good dolphin, yes we did have a pretty good vibe in the early days at score. if felt apart between boers and murphy in the first year but for the most part, we all got along well.

he's got a big fat paycheck and hardly works a lick, so I'd say he's the winner here.

Mac do you think Julie DiCaro's reporting of the Patrick Kane case has been biased? She couldn't wait to vomit up any little detail that might have looked bad for Kane's side but now that there are reports the whole thing is going to be shit canned, she basically ignores it. You seem to have been the only one who would've called her on it had you been employed at the Score while this was going on instead of cowering in fear from her or blindly agreeing so as not be seen as promoting RAPE CULTURE.

Read Ed Sherman's story in the Trib, August 15, 2014. Then read Robert Feder's blog on Feb 15, 2015. Again... why would I lie? It's all documented, fella.

badrogue17, I wish I knew enough about her reporting to comment intelligently. I've consumed less sports radio in the past year than at any time since the Score was "born." When I do listen, I'm not likely to hang through Scoreboards as I've done four of 'em already on a weekday.
