Kathy was gushing about the Carole King musical that just opened in Chicago. She went on and on about all the Carole King songs. From the back bench, Mackey chimed in that she wrote Pleasant Valley Sunday that the Monkees did.

Way to step up Mackeyfish!

I don't think Pete was pointing at him at the time, though. Probably got a scolding during the break.

Are you referring to "Headquarters"? It debuted at #1. Unfortunately, Sgt. Peppers came out a week later. May be more a victim of bad timing than a bomb/
