The guy is morbidly obese. Saw him a bit over a year ago and he looked like he was trying to go from radio to TV....on my 600 pound life!

So here is my question......Why is it Kap has stayed on his SOTA diet and lost over 30 pounds and continues to stay with it, yet the guy who is morbidly obese, started the diet, told everyone how his clothes were all getting loose, he was looking and feeling great and then ....poof, off the program, with never a mention why? Just too lazy and undisciplined? God knows for various health reasons, he needs to lose weight.

Hood sucks. Always has. Why Kap took him as a partner, I'll never know. His show was at it's best when Eddie Olczyk was on it. The basketball player from North Dame was pretty good too. Hood is awful and he is a disgustingly fat, gelatinous mess as well. Had to have been a diversity hiring. No other explanation.

He sounds like a totally different guy when he does some of the national wrestling stuff, way better and more engaged, there just seems to a an accepted level of mediocrity at ESPN 1000, and that they have no idea or intention of improving the product.

I dislike every host on the Score except for Mully and yet, I don't listen to ESPN 1000. I'm not sure why. It's just not good radio I guess. I end up listening to XM instead.

I rarely call into shows these days. Business is crazy busy and I just don't take the time. When I call in these days, it's more often on the weekends to the baseball show. I used to call into Kap's show, and liked it a lot more when Eddie Olczyk was on it, from time to time. Hood is awful. His shtick of imitating Kap or Silva has grown really old. He brings very little to the broadcasts. The whole I love you thing to each other is weird too. I doubt either likes the other very much.

You have the power dynamic wrong. Hood had a regular shift at 1000 and they elevated him to the morning show. Kap was on the balls of his ass after being let go by WGN and cable NBC. It was he who was lucky that Hood took him on.
