It's just a slightly better Bud or Pabst, or whatever macro adjunct lager you want to substitute. The novelty of it is part of the appeal. Similar to how Fat Tire was when you couldn't get it east of the Mississippi River.

Fat Tire is delicious

It's okay. I liked it more when I couldn't get it anytime I wanted.

My dad tells stories of his time at University of Iowa around 1960 of him and his friends loading up the and driving to Colorado on a few weekends to haul back a trunk load of Coors. He claims it was better back than but I wonder. Fat Tire is still one of the better beers you find everywhere. I mean, ive been to a more than one bar/tavern out in the sticks when the chooses were either Miller-Coors or Bud products. Maybe you can find a Shiner or a Mexican lager or something like that but there are times I'm grateful for Fat Tire.

They're selling it in Green Bay now?

Gotta vote for the other half of the longest running relationship amongst any poster here. Can anyone else here say they go back over 25 years ago?

Cory gets my vote even though his mom fired me 3x.
