Yelich is hitting 216 with 1 HR. After this season you have 6!!!!!! more years of that contract @ 26 million per year. Ouch!

Funny how Cub fans are so worried about something the Brewers fan aren't currently thinking about. 12 games is such a huge amount to make decisions on.

12 games? He was terrible last year as well (and pretty mediocre in 2020, albeit the "COVID" year)

Bob, believe it or not, players have bad years. Let's see what happens in 2022 but give it more than 12 games.

You can try and Stockholm syndrome your way out of it..I know Cub fans did this a couple years into Heyward's deal but this isn't the 90's when some magic vitamins could rejuvenate a player north of 30 career. This is a trend of multiple bad seasons.

With your record of prognostications, he will probably return to MVP form.

it is way more than a 12 game rough patch. This is going on 3 (shortened) seasons now. I saw someone else mention Heyward. They had nearly identical WAR numbers over the past 2 years and are once again neck and neck at .2. He always seemed pretty consistent with Miami and I would expect him to sit around those numbers for the rest of his career. This rough stretch is as odd as his sudden MVP season.

10-6 and a nice series win in Philly. Now they had to fly home last night to play 1 game against the Giants today and then turn around and fly to Pittsburgh tonight for a 3 game series starting tomorrow.

You sure seem to worry about others teams a lot more than the one you supposedly cheer for, can I send you a Brewers hat?

Yeli's OPS is up to .797, 2 extremely hard hit balls today. Hopefully good signs of life.

Has a player ever decided to retire during the season for the best of the team, if so, Lorenzo Cain should be introduced to him.

Isn't he the guy who showed up for the Covid shortened season and packed his shit and went home after a few weeks? If he pulls the plug could you arrange for him to introduce himself to Heyward. They are neck and neck with their 4 rbi this year.
