Easy division since the Cardinals seem to have their thumb up their ass and wouldn't sign a real SS. Winning the division and being the 2 seed should be easy, beating whoever escapes from the NL East to the NLDS, less so.

Don't know how McCutcheon has left but damn has he looked good in the spring. Also, very nice to see Huira look like the guy that we drafted out of college again, hopefully good signs for things to come.

I've worked with 4 organizations. 1 of them referred to the given season as a "championship season" in all their spring training paperwork we received. They were the only 1 of the 4 to never have won an actual championship and that remains true to this day. I am also pretty sure they had a talking point of giving 110 percent throughout the spring and season.

Everytime I see Heyward's name in the lineup and get pissed I remind myself to take a minute and appreciate that he isn't in the 1st year of a 7 year 28 mil/yr extension like Yelich. I am surprised they responded to his golden sombrero yesterday with a complete day off. It was a 2 and then 1 run game and to not even pinch hit him tells a lot.
