Kap & GW's latest podcast focused mostly on the Brewers with a Brewers beat reporter as guest. He said the fan base in general is concerned about the team though they should be very competitive. Strong starting staff with doubts if they will be resigned. Key position players traded with lesser replacements. Strong position prospects but not so much pitching. The guy was really disgusted with Christian Yelich's (owed 160+ mil 6y) lack of production (737 ops 23 hr '21 & '22). The writer bemoaned the Brewers poor record vs Cardinals (actually only 3 <.500 last 5 years).

I'm impressed that they decided to cut their losses now. Wiemer should be ready to come up by the trade deadline at the latest, they're better off giving him chances to DH at that point than doubling down now on Hiura one last time.

This whole Bally Sports channel just sucks. Not part of Hulu package, and they sell it stand alone for like $189 per year. But I do not really care about watching the Brewers per se. My complaint is that Cubs/Brewers games get blacked out on my MLB package.....like today.
