No. Rondon never lost his job as the stopper. They took it away from him.

He could have been our stopper this year. Why not? But he had a couple mediocre weeks and nagging injury last year and the organization smeared him and treated him like he didnt exist. When really he was one of the PRIME reasons we went as far as we did in 2015 an 2016.

well after Rondon's debacle start, he has since pitched 8-2/3 SHUTOUT innings out of the bullpen. Lowered his ERA to under 4.

Still sucks though, without that terrible start his numbers would be having a banner year.
