"Do Hawg Asses Dream of Electric Sheep?" by Hawg Ass

Sleep, how much do you get
a night and is it enough

to keep you
going? I have

a sleep apnea machine
and since I got it,

if I can get 6 good hours, I am
good to go. Before I got it, I could sleep

ten hours and still be
exhausted.

"Requiem for a Drumstick," by The Inebriated Rodent

My ankle was a church league softball injury.
Lunged at first base
beating out a grounder and

crumbled like a cheap fold up lawn chair
under a 500 pound man.
I remember walking off the field

thinking I would be ready for the playoffs
in two weeks. Then hockey season.
I'm retired from both now

and it still bugs me
from time to time.

"Tom Thayer Sucks at Speaking," by Beardown

He just pukes out words.
Sounds like an idiot
most of the time.
Like a 6 year old often.

The guy knows shit
about baseball.
But there he is,
on the air,
saying stuff.
Once again, just
puking out words,
making no sense and
sounding like the idiot that he is.

"The Last Word," by ltg

Are you stupid?

I know it's a rhetorical
question at this point
but

whatever. It's a well known fact that Catholic
Schools preach to students about
ABSTINENCE.

You may not know this
as you are not particularly bright,
but

even a discussion
about abstaining from
"sex"

is still
a discussion about
"sex".

"When You Take Ownership of the Beef," by Drunk Squirrel

It's a typical level of inspection
for locker beef like this.
Animal is inspected live,

carcass is stamped

but the cutting and record keeping
isn't done for resale. We have
ours worked at a USDA inspected
plant but since most customers
don't want to pay for the labeling
they are roller labeled not for resale.

Or, this is possibly a level C
(For custom) plant that Doc
goes to and then it has
a different set of rules that involve

when you take ownership of the beef.

ltg is getting biblical. There are better examples, but here is one from Deuteronomy 29-30:

2 And ltg called unto all Israel, and said unto them, Ye have seen all that the Lord did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land ( . . . )

18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passesth over Jordan to go to possess it.

19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing:

20 You seem to be "projecting" quite "vociferously" for some reason. Hey Spaulding "proud" Catholic that you are.

21 Guess who "proudly" provided (((Sanctuary))) to Nazi War Criminals as they tried to escape the crimes that they'd committed as part (((Vatican))) (((Vatican))) of the Holocaust?

22 I'm certain that knowing this will lead you to renounce your membership tomorrow won't it?

23 Because after all you are "appalled" and "aghast" that anyone would "support" something so egregious and heinous correct?

24 For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

"A Trans Trans Something" by Spaulding (Morgan Wallen version)

I'm not butch but
I'm not super fem,
and I don't think I'd
be a good lesbian.

I can make up my own gender and sexuality.
I'd like to keep my body parts.
I think I have a woman's body
but I'm a man that thinks he's a woman with all the parts.

I'm not butch but
I'm not super fem,
and I don't think I'd
be a good lesbian.

Yeah I'm a woman that thinks
she is a man
but is really a woman.
I'm a trans trans something.
I make up my pronouns
by the hour so all good.

And I'm not butch but
I'm not super fem,
and I don't--no I don't--no I don't think I'd
be a good lesbian.

The degree to which you can sing this to "What I Am" by Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians is uncanny.

I used to have a friend who loved that album. I never understood why.

This came out when I was still in High School, which means 99% of the music I listened to was Metal / Classic Rock. My older sister had introduced it to me and I liked it simply because it was very pop /light sounding, but still very guitar-centric. Good voice...good songwriting. I still think it's a great album.

“From Time to Time: Gacy Speaks,” by Clawmaster

My fan club is growing
but seems to consist of odd men
with strange political fetishes.

I do enjoy tapping the glass
at the zoo
from time to time

to rile up the animals,
find the responses to be rather
Pavlovian and predictable,

throw some odd thing that
none of them would know
about out there
from time to time

for enjoyment.
