It's ok. The question did reveal that 'Bernstein didn't even criticize her!' is an opinion one can have, which I really didn't foresee. I can't argue with that so I'll try and just concern myself with others. Since you keep score you can mark that down in your column.
What was his criticism of her?

It wasn't a criticism so much as an outright dismissal of her as a professional. The criticism came from Spiegel.

Doesn't seem like much of a difference to me. The woman at Comcast was probably hired because she's hard-nosed or strong-willed.

Both hosts used derogatory terms to characterize the women and their attributes.
Bernstein objectified her but didn't use a derogatory term.

Let's all do an experiment.
Go home, and walk in the door and say to your wife that you really like her boobs.
The next day, walk in the door and call her a bitch.

Same reaction?

probably

My test group is all messed up because I'd probably say both things over the course of an evening

So unlike Megan Glaros or BRick's abundant nonsensical examples or some of this men's rights dipshittery about not being able to ogle women anymore, this is someone in the same industry as Bernstein, an industry where it's established (by whatever general consensus that you'd want find, SJWs on Twitter being just one) that women fighting to be above second-class. Bernstein, who has power and influence in the industry, dismissing a woman (though complimentary! Black people are good dancers!) as a sex object is a clear line-steppin' to me.
Her physical appearance is part of her job. If you have a problem with how women are hired in the television industry take it up with Comcast rather than Dan Bernstein.

It's a visual medium. The physical appearance of any person on television is fair game.

I have a problem with it, but there's nothing I can do about it, but I certainly don't point it out for the twitter-verse to see because I don't objectify women. Openly objectifying women socially is and should be unacceptable. Objectifying women without openly saying you do is currently socially acceptable.

of course I'm attracted to women, but I love my wife enough to put the initial thought aside and focus on her instead. I certainly don't look at a woman as a series of body parts, although obviously women get hired to do sports largely on that basis.

So you suppress your desire to objectify women because you are married?

I save all my objectification for my wife. I find the real thing to be far better than what I can view on a screen, etc. Everyone should try it.

I don't think those kind of thoughts about the females on this site. I find the real thing to be far better than what I can view on a message board post.

670 has been must listen radio the last week or so with the dustup and all. There is a very obvious and noticable change in Danny's attitude and demeanor. No yelling or screaming and less confrontational. Today Berns even complimented the callers for being good the last 2 days.

Bernstein's playing possum, trying to avoid having the other shoe--or even the first shoe--fall.

Bernstein skates through this with zero real world repercussions and 6 months from now he's even more of an intolerable douchebag than he was before boobs.
