Yes, he's not been as hard core as he was even a few weeks ago. He may feel the same, but he's been more resigned. Lawrence and Leila think there's some plot against Fields that the entire NFL is in on .

I think Dan understands when something is a bit, while the others are true believers. Any sincerity behind his Fields’ cult membership was disabused when every independent source of information told him he was wrong.
