I remember when Jason sold dime bags at the KFC on Main in Evanston. #WSCR

Evanston...

I remember sticking fiends at the one-six-ooh
When we was starving, ducking five-oh, paying 'em dues
Times is hard in the slums I'm from, they got us barred in
We warring and cage dodging, ripping and robbing

I'm pretty sure there's never been a KFC on Main Street.

All the more reason for Jason "35th and Stony" Goff to sell there.

The KFC in LG was where all the drug deals went down, too. What is it with KFC and drugs?

Kendrick Lamar's dad worked at KFC and Tog Dawg (head of the label) almost held the place up but Papa Duckworth knew he was dangerous and hooked him up with food so he didnt hold THAT place up...

Oh Lamar, Hail Mary and marijuana, times is hard
Pray with the hooligans, shadows all in the dark
Fellowship with demons and relatives, I'm a star
Life is one funny mothafucka
A true comedian, you gotta love him, you gotta trust him
I might be buggin', infomercials and no sleep
Introverted by my thoughts; children, listen, it gets deep
See, once upon a time inside the Nickerson Garden projects
The object was to process and digest poverty's dialect
Adaptation inevitable: gun violence, crack spot
Federal policies raid buildings and drug professionals
Anthony was the oldest of seven
Well-respected, calm and collected
Laughin' and jokin' made life easier; hard times, Momma on crack
A four-year-old tellin' his nanny he needed her
His family history: pimpin' and bangin'
He was meant to be dangerous
Clocked him a grip and start slangin'
Fifteen, scrapin' up his jeans with quarter pieces
Even got some head from a smoker last weekend
Dodged a policeman, workin' for his big homie
Small-time hustler, graduated to a brick on him
10,000 dollars out of a project housing, that's on the daily
Seen his first mil twenty years old, had a couple of babies
Had a couple of shooters
Caught a murder case, fingerprints on the gun they assumin'
But witnesses couldn't prove it
That was back when he turned his back and they killed his cousin
He beat the case and went back to hustlin'
Bird-shufflin', Anthony rang
The first in the projects with the two-tone Mustang
That 5.0 thing, they say 5-0 came
Circlin' parking lots and parking spots
And hoppin' out while harrassin' the corner blocks
Crooked cops told Anthony he should kick it
He brushed 'em off and walked back to the Kentucky Fried Chicken
See, at this chicken spot
There was a light-skinned n***a that talked a lot
With a curly top and a gap in his teeth
He worked the window, his name was Ducky
He came from the streets, the Robert Taylor Homes
Southside Projects, Chiraq, the Terror Dome
Drove to California with a woman on him and 500 dollars
They had a son, hopin' that he'd see college
Hustlin' on the side with a nine-to-five to freak it
Cadillac Seville, he'd ride his son around on weekends
Three-piece special with his name on the shirt pocket
'Cross the street from the projects, Anthony planned to rob it
Stuck up the place before, back in '84
That's when affiliation was really eight gears of war
So many relatives tellin' us, sellin' us devilish works
Killin' us, crime, intelligent, felonious
Prevalent proposition with 9's
Ducky was well-aware
They robbed the manager and shot a customer last year
He figured he'd get on these niggas' good sides
Free chicken every time Anthony posted in line
Two extra biscuits, Anthony liked him and then let him slide
They didn't kill him; in fact, it look like they're the last to survive
Pay attention, that one decision changed both of they lives
One curse at a time
Reverse the manifest and good karma, and I'll tell you why
You take two strangers and put 'em in random predicaments
Give 'em a soul so they can make their own choices and live with it
Twenty years later, them same strangers, you make 'em meet again
Inside recording studios where they reapin' their benefits
Then you start remindin' them about that chicken incident
Whoever thought the greatest rapper would be from coincidence?
Because if Anthony killed Ducky, Top Dawg could be servin' life
While I grew up without a father and die in a gunfight

Chris Kluwe was run out of the league at age 31 for being a political loudmouth, too. He wasn't a great punter, but was a serviceable middle of the pack guy. Once the Vikings had enough of his shit (which I recall was him asking the ST coach not to call people a slur used for homosexuals, an entirely reasonable request), the best he could manage was a workout with a handful of teams each time a punter went down.

This. There are plenty of serviceable backup QBs available. Sign one with or without "baggage?" Easy choice.

Also, let's not forget that he chose to opt out of his contract...

Kluwe was a very outspoken advocate for the players' union, which probably has more to do with the collusion against him than calling Gamergate people epic bacon twat-cocking fuckmuffins on Gawker.

Also, not a good punter, punted to Devin Hester in his prime.

This was why I dropped him. Seemed like half of his posts were about race. To date he has been my shortest Twitter follow.

Define serviceable. If that means taking snaps and handing off then I agree. However, if you mean guys who can step in and win a few games with their QB play then I'd differ. Most back-ups truly stink. It's an important position and CK would be a significant improvement for many teams. In a league where 1 or 2 games can make or break a season I thinks it's all rather ridiculous.

I agree. Coaches are ridiculous with their fear of distractions and their fear of giving away a competitive advantage by releasing any information that is not mandated by the league. Personally, if I owned a team I would want to sign CK. There are so many criminals and knuckleheads in the league but you can't have someone who peacefully protested the national anthem over police brutality? Agree with him or not but he doesn't deserve to be blackballed over what he did.

His mother must spend her nights crying over how Jason turned out. She did everything right to raise a child, put him in a good suburban school, sent him to college, which he dropped out of, and proceeds to embarrass her on the radio.

His family, not baby mama, has to be embarrassed.
He has turned out to be nothing more than a semi-literate, wannabe gangbanger with no common sense.
He is pathetic.

He makes the fat, illiterate cow, JDC, seem bright and that is damn near impossible to do. Goff sucks.

That seems like an impossible question to answer.

He should be in the league unless he's pricing himself out, which I doubt.

Zippy is making a case that some team that was 1 or 2 wins away should have signed him. It's easy to say but hard to come up who should have. Remember, the Seahawks didn't want him as a backup because he was too good.

That means you have to buy the story that Seattle thought he was "too good" to be offered a contract even at the league minimum.

This Dan Stephens dumbfuck won't give it up. Do you think Evanston's very own Jason Goff doesn't know where all the KFCs were/are? Main and Dodge is Boltwood Park, a shitty strip mall with a 7-Eleven, a shitty strip mall with a UPS store, and a Walgreen's. There was never a KFC on that corner. I got your back on this one, J. Go Kits!

Doesn't the fact that he did have another year of guaranteed money coming his way from the Niners make all of this a moot point? He took the player option to leave, not SF.

He miscalculated his market but that is different than saying he doesn't offer enough to be an NFL backup.
