How many years does he have left? With the ratings in the toilet, besides Cubs games, can they really afford to pay their hosts big moola? Seems like their game plan is to spend big on the Cubs and hire cheap younger hosts to manage the decline of their once great sports talk station. I see no place for Bernstein long term and is he really someone who will draw lots of offers from other non sports stations?

Two fairly high profile sexist gaffes, he's radioactive nationally. Not that WSCR would ever let him go, he's their face. They'll get rid of 10 Jason Goff's before they even think about letting go of Berns.

They will never get rid of Jason Goff or 10 of him for obvious reasons.

Saw an article during the board outage that SCR was still 3rd highest billing station. Their revenues are fine

Bernstein is smarter than North n Mac, he's content with 200k a year for 1k hours of "work" and 4-5 weeks vacation . he won't fuck this gravy train up.

Plus, he's monetized his wife's business and has built quite a network of the Chicago elite with his connection to the Ricketts and OneStep.

Hell Goff can't get BINNY'S to sell HIM labeled wine if last week's story is to be believed.
