The way it came up in tranny, Goff said "everyone in this studio had a name in their head immediately" and then went around to Shep and the other guys saying "they're all nodding their head, they know who it is". So if the person was known to every host and producer, it has to be a bigger name. I want to say the name common to them all would be Murph, but the conversation was in the present tense, as in this person is still at the station...I just keep coming back to Bernstein. Maybe the others realize how often he launches into his jive-talking voice, how he absolutely delights at West Side Mike, and so on.

There is no way it's Bernstein. It's likely a salesperson or someone we are not familiar with.
